DeWitt must learn to fight foes in high-speed Sky-Line battles, engage in combat both indoors and amongst the clouds, and harness the power of dozens of new weapons and abilities.

It looks really, really awesome. I don't know what else has been released of it, but well... I'm gonna love this.

Alien Swarm: First Person

I don't know if this works online since I've only used it in Offline Practice.
You can use the following console command to enable first person mode:
firstperson (thirdperson to undo)
Enables first person camera mode. Controls are still fucked up at this point.
asw_controls 0 (1 to undo)
Sets the controls so that you can play normally.
asw_hide_marine 1 (0 to undo)
Hides yourself so you can actually see something.
Again, it's probably flagged as cheat in multiplayer games but you can use this locally without sv_cheats as far as I know. Give it a try, it's awesome.
If you want to undo this, type the code in brackets.
On a related note, we might want to add an Alien Swarm subforum. -
